This cushion features two lions suspended in motion as they chase a hydrangea ball, inspired by the ancient Chinese motif which symbolises wisdom and good fortune. Lion Dance has been finely handwoven from silk yarns on a soft wool background using Aubusson tapestry.

Guo Pei is a Chinese couturier renowned for her elaborate and meticulous detailing. Embodying heritage fashion, Pei rose to international fame after Rihanna wore one of her most exquisite pieces to the 2015 Met Gala. Often referred to as China’s ‘Queen of Couture’, Pei has proved her revered status after succeeding as the first guest member of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture and the founding member of the Asian Couture Federation. With her designs often taking years to create, this collaboration highlights our mutual respect for craftsmanship, tradition and authentic luxury.
